What this register records

Every moderation action taken on the SynC Standards wiki is written to an append-only log at the moment it happens, in the same database transaction as the action itself. This page is that log. It is public and requires no account, and the entries below are the complete record for the library — nothing is filtered out by editorial judgement.

Each entry states four things and only four things: what was done, when, the reason category chosen from a fixed list, and — while the affected standard is still published — which standard it was done to. The actor is recorded as SynC, the platform, because moderation is a platform act.

Four things are deliberately never published here: the individual moderator, anyone who reported the content, the free-text note a moderator may attach to an action, and the removed content itself. Reason categories are published as categories and are not elaborated on — an entry reading Other stays Other. Where an action follows a copyright notice, the entry says a notice was received; that is a statement about process and is not a finding that anyone infringed anything.

When a standard has been archived, its entry appears here without naming it. The fact of the removal is disclosed; the identity of removed content is not re-published on the page that announces its removal.
