Remake batch 26: rewritten from scratch under the authoring cheatsheet with datasheet constraints; neighbors re-pointed to the new scope boundaries; the electrical code is now the adopted-electrical-code project fact
Showing changes from Rev 4 to Rev 5 in Busway Plug-In Units and Rack Power Distribution Units.

When to use: Two product families that take power from a distribution run and hand it to a load at the point of use. The first is the plug-in unit that mounts on an opening of a plug-in busway run rated 600 V and below, listed to UL 857 with the busway series it mounts on: fusible-switch, circuit-breaker, non-fused disconnect, and receptacle tap-off units, with their overcurrent devices, fuse class or trip unit, stabs and ground connection, interlocks and padlock provisions, enclosure type, out-of-reach operating provisions, load-side terminations and cord drops, and ratings. The second is the rack-mount power distribution unit, the relocatable power tap, and the special-purpose relocatable power tap that distribute one branch circuit to the cord-connected equipment in an equipment rack or cabinet, in data centers, information technology equipment rooms, telecommunications rooms, equipment closets, laboratories, and patient care areas: basic, metered, monitored, and switched units, single and dual-input units, their input voltage, current, connection, plug, and cord, outlet types and retention, outlet bank protection, integral surge protection, metering granularity and accuracy, network interface, environmental sensors, and mounting. Covers identification, factory and field testing, installation, warranty, and spares for both families.
− Not intended for: the busway run itself, its fittings, hangers, joints, plug-in openings, and joint spares ([[sync/busway]]); the panelboard that feeds a plug-in run or a rack and the breakers in it ([[sync/panelboards]]); fixed receptacles, their plates, and the branch-circuit outlet a cord-connected unit plugs into ([[sync/wiring-devices]]); floor boxes and poke-through devices ([[sync/electrical-floor-boxes-and-poke-throughs]]); the uninterruptible power supply ahead of the distribution ([[sync/uninterruptible-power-supply-systems]]); permanently connected surge protective devices ([[sync/surge-protective-devices]]); the conductors in conduit landed on a plug-in unit and the flexible cord of a cord drop ([[sync/conductors-and-cables]]); the raceways, boxes, and rough-in ([[sync/raceways-and-conduit]], [[sync/common-work-results-electrical]]); the equipment grounding conductors and the bonding of the system ([[sync/grounding-and-bonding]]); the telecommunications cabling in the racks ([[sync/structured-cabling]]); the monitoring system the metered units report to ([[sync/electrical-power-monitoring]]); the short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies ([[sync/short-circuit-study]], [[sync/protective-coordination-study]], [[sync/arc-flash-study]]); the plug-in units of lighting and trolley busway; plug-in units for metal-enclosed bus above 600 V; the floor-standing data center power distribution unit that combines a transformer and panelboards in one listed cabinet; the equipment racks and cabinets the rack units mount in; and power taps and plug-in units in hazardous classified locations.
