Backflow prevention assemblies and cross-connection control for potable water systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. Covers the selection, installation, testing, certification, and freeze protection of reduced-pressure principle assemblies (RPZ/RPA), double-check valve assemblies (DCVA), pressure vacuum breakers (PVB), spill-resistant vacuum breakers (SVB), atmospheric vacuum breakers (AVB), and dual-check valves with intermediate atmospheric vent (DCAP), as well as fire-service detector check assemblies (DCDA-II and RPDA-II).
