#### The most common cause of in-service paneling and trim failure is not a defect in the woodwork but a building allowed to swing far outside the humidity range the woodwork was fabricated for, which drives the cupping, splitting, and open joints that the floating-panel and movement provisions can only partly absorb. {note}
