What SynC costs

Everyone who receives your specifications reads, comments and responds free, forever. Your first author is free too. Every author after that requires a seat, at one price, with no tiers.

Receiving, reading and responding to specifications is never metered and never gated.

  1. 1.01Unlimited readers. Recipients never need a subscription, or a seat, or a card.
  2. 1.02Share links and forwarding, with a full record of who received what.
  3. 1.03Comments and responses on every specification and datasheet.
  4. 1.04Your work is always exportable. Export is free at every level, including after a seat lapses.
  5. 1.05Introductory full seats for every company, granted at creation. An allowance, not a trial, which the Terms let us change with notice.
  6. 1.06A starter grant of AI credits, once, the first time you accept a project or join a company. Enough to judge the assistant before anyone buys credits.

PART 2 · SEATS

Additional seats

Buy seats by the quantity you need. No tiers, no packages, nothing switched off because you bought fewer.

  1. 2.01Full seat: author anywhere in your company and start new projects.
  2. 2.02Collaborator seat: editing rights for someone at another company, inside your projects only.
  3. 2.03Collaborator seats are included with every full seat, pooled across the company.
  4. 2.04Extra collaborator seats, capped as a multiple of your full seat count.
  5. 2.05Personal AI credits every month with every full seat, refreshed on the day your subscription renews. Prepaid packs for the company beyond that.
  6. 2.06Annual billing costs less than paying by the month. Change or cancel from the billing portal.

Every seat includes everything. There is no feature grid because nothing is switched off by quantity. What SynC does is on the Specifiers page.

What stays free

Reading is not something we sell. No one is charged to open, read, comment on or respond to a specification sent to them, and the price of a seat is set on that basis. The introductory seat is an allowance, not a plan: if what it includes changes, companies hear about it first, with time to decide.

Questions

What does a seat let someone do?

Write and edit specifications and datasheets, save revisions and start projects, anywhere in your company. A person without a seat reads, comments and responds free.

Who needs a collaborator seat?

Someone at another company who edits inside your projects, such as a consultant. Every full seat includes some, pooled across the company. Extras are sold one at a time, capped by the number of full seats you hold.

What happens when a seat lapses?

The person keeps reading and commenting. Editing, saving revisions, starting projects and asking the assistant to write stop until a seat is free again. Nothing is deleted, and export stays free.

What do AI credits pay for?

Each question or edit the assistant does costs credits in proportion to what it costs us to run. Every full seat carries a monthly allowance, refreshed when your subscription renews. Beyond that your company buys prepaid packs. Nothing is charged after the fact.

Is there a trial?

Every new company starts with extra full seats for a limited period, on top of the introductory seat, so a team can try it together. When they end, anyone without a bought seat keeps reading and commenting and loses nothing they wrote.
