Using AI in SynC

The AI Assistant is available when viewing specifications. It can answer questions about specification content, help interpret requirements, and provide context from related standards.

The assistant is a tool to support your work — it does not make decisions or modify documents on its own. All suggestions require human review and approval before being applied.

AI interactions are scoped to the specific specification you are viewing. The assistant only has access to the content of that specification and its related standard. It does not have access to other projects, user data, or information outside the current context.

Conversation history with the AI Assistant is not stored permanently. Each session starts fresh to protect the privacy of your interactions.

SynC uses AI to make construction specification management more efficient, not to replace professional judgment. AI-generated content should always be reviewed by qualified professionals before being incorporated into project documentation.
