Using AI in SynC

The assistant answers questions about your specifications, datasheets and the standards behind them. Where you can edit, it can also propose changes.

It does not change anything on its own. Each change it proposes appears as a card that you approve or decline.

The assistant works with your permissions. It reads only what you can already open in SynC, and nothing else.

Your conversations are saved to your account so you can return to them. They are private to you. You can delete one at any time or copy it out as text. A conversation you stop using is deleted 180 days after its last message.

SynC does not use your content or your conversations to train generative AI models. The providers that run the assistant may not keep them for their own purposes or train on them.

AI output is a draft. Review it as you would a colleague's markup before it goes into a project document.
